WHEAT is in the flag leaf stage. We only need the flag leaf portion for tissue analysis. Keep in mind prior to flag leaf we still need the entire above ground portion of the plant. CORN <12 inches (VE-V2)is seedling and we need the entire plant. See our plant analysis guide for complete information. Be sure to send a sufficient amount of material for analysis. Double fist or softball size is good visualization. SOIL NITROGEN tests for PSNT: Corn needs to be 10-12 inches tall and the soil sample is to a 12 inch depth.
